Comic Stuff

In the past few months I have been collaborating with Keren Katz on some comics.
We started with a comic based on my story 134 Mahanaim St., the address of the building I was born in. It tells a tale that is based on my earliest memory. My mom sent me to get some milk from the grocery store, but I failed.

This collaboration started as part of the Humdrum group, and we went with it to the Angouleme BD festival in France, where I also read my lament for the late Israeli comic artist Dudu Geva.

In Februray 2015 the story was awarded a silver medal by the Society of Illustrators NYC. In April Keren was awarded a MoCCA Award of Excellence for it.

We’re currently working on the adaptation of my play “The Greatest Poet Ever” to comics.
